it's so funny. i only update this on a weekly basis. generally on the day that i have my meeting. which would be today.

okay. so my little gain last week MUST have had to be because of my period... because i got it in full force this week. and ended up losing 3.8. which i think is owed all to water retention from last week. i barely walked this week and was pretty lazy. i stayed within point everyday, but didn't really feel motivated. oh well. so that brings my total up to 37.2! can you friggin' believe it? i can't. so that was a happy thing for me.

today i wanted to get somewhat started on my book for kerry's round. palbooks, i'm talking about. my first one. i'm pretty excited, but nervous. so i decided to head into harvard square and pick up some cute lil things. i love harvard square. it's great for little things. and people watching. esp on a nice day. so ya know what i did? i walked to davis square and took the t in from there. it worked out pretty well, because there was some festival or something in davis square, so all roads were blocked for traffic. davis is about a mile and a half from me. not too bad. a 3 mile walk in all. i picked up a couple things in harvard square. they can add up so damn fast though. i picked up some boston postcards, stickers, and other little surprise goodies. i hope the girls in the round appreciate it all. a lot of people are looking forward to my book... since it's my first round. and i just got back into the pal world, etc. so i'm a little nervous, but everyone is sure that my book is going to be fantabulous.

did i tell you all that i registered for a short story workshop? if not, i did. through boston center for adult education. it started on weds. so far so good. granted the class wasn't that long since there was nothing to critique, but it seemed like a great group of people. everyone seems like they're there because they WANT to, not because they have to. and that is a huge thing. huge. and everyone seems so different in it. we all had to go around the room and introduce ourselves. and everyone is just so different, it's great. there was one guy that i ended up walking back to the t with, rudy. good kid. grew up in south America, lived in chicago, went to school in wisconsin, and is now in boston. he just seemed very interesting. i dig that. i just hope that i'm able to make connections with people. i need to meet new people that like the same things that i do.

so anyway, yeah, that's where i am right now. i have monday, tues, and weds off this week. i think it's suppose to rain... but i don't care.. cause i have days off!!! :)

i should get ready... i need to go food shopping and head over to colleen's house.
