but i'm starting to get into the spirit... you know... doing my usual bake off. actually, my second annual bake off. heh. time time i'm making one more different type of cookie than i did last year.

and i'm listening to my christmas songs cd. granted i bought a new one this year... but i always seem to come back to this one. crazy, eh? actually, not really. when you get the whole barnaked ladies and sarah mclachlan medley going on... it's hard to switch off of that. the other songs on this disc are okay... but... i dunno. they're not the best.

after i'm done with this batch of cookies... i'm going up to mr. boulas and letting him know that we ordered a washer and dryer and that it's coming tomorrow. a nice little chuck of change coming out of my pocket for this. it's going to be great. WHAT DID I DO? i suppose it'll be good in the long run... and i tech. don't owe any money until july... so that's good. maybe i'll save up... and i'll take one less trip this year. i'll have to. cause it's about the cost of a trip. even more, actually. argh. but at least i'll have a washer and dryer for my life.

i did all my shopping yesterday in one swoop. i am not even going to tell you where i shopped. i'll just say it was ol' faithful. and if you know me, you may be able to figure out what ol' faithful is. :) and i didn't end up buying people anything of what i thought i was going to buy them. but i am sure people will like things anyway. at least, i hope that they will. and if they don't.... i hope they act like they like it.

i'm really curious as to lacey's gift for me. she keeps saying that she can't tell me what she bought alia because it's the same thing... just with a variation. i'm thinking that she made us some sort of beaded anklets or something. i don't know. lacey's the creative type. she just goes crazy with it. so i'm sure whatever it is... i'll like it.

i'm starting to get excited now.... the whole season is here. it's finally coming together. it did seem like a rush, but things, overall, are working out.
