walking (driving) in a winter wonderland

merry merry christmas to everyone.

and if you're in massachusetts or new england or the northeast or whatever... hope you drive super safe everywhere you go.

the roads are awful. well, some of them anyway. 24 north near stoughton milton... i don't think had a plow anywhere in sight. and you could tell. if you went over 5 miles an hour, you could consider yourself to be speeding.

but overall christmas was fantastic. i had a wonderful time with my family. giving them gifts and just spending time with them. last night i had my parents over for christmas eve dinner. it went pretty well. they liked the marsala. so that's all good.

as for the gifts that i have received... i got a nice 3 piece luggage set from my parents. with dunkins gift certificates, a car repair kit, measuring spoons, and a house repair kit. lisa already bought the house repair kit, so i shall be returning that tomorrow.

my sister and jon gave me the game cranium which i'm super stoked over. and a black pocketbook that zips and is bigger than the one that i currently have.... which is what i was looking for. so i'm super stoked over that as well.

and joey... the cute little nephew that he is, gave me a picture of himself in a frame. how vain is he? just kidding. he's my nephew and he's cute. and he gave me a picture of himself... i'm sure with the help of sue and jon.

but overall, it was really good. i wish i was more crafty and thoughtful this year. maybe i thought the cookies were enough... but now i'm doubting it. oh well. i'll have to start thinking for next year. :)
