anyway, so i remembered that barnes & noble offers online courses. so i figure that i'd see what they had and possibly join some writing one if it seemed at all interesting to me. well, wouldn't you know, they DID have a writing related one. it focuses on the writing of memoirs and how to write your own, etc. and well, guess what? i joined. i'm on the roster. the roster is a pretty big one too. i didn't think that so many people were interested in participating. but i guess they are! i think it will be good for me, and fun in the process. cause not only will i be learning how to write, i'll be meeting people online who share the same passion that i do. i don't currently have that in my everyday life. and i fully admit, that i haven't really made an effort to participate in such things. maybe this will give me my added umph. i hope.

today, i went with alia and her sister to brown. he sister is going back for the spring semester. gosh, i miss college. i just remember the excitement of going back to school and seeing my friends again. it was good to walk around brown and walk around thayer street even though there was an unexpected rainstorm going on which really wasn't fun to walk through. but we did so anyway. the only place that we didn't really hit was east side pockets, but we can save that for some other time. that deserves its own trip.

and of course we ended up at a barnes & noble on the way home. we went to the out by chestnut hill. it was a decent one. better than the one at the north shore mall, but of course, not as wonderful as the one in burlington. i'm so addicted to that one, i swear. i compare every bookstore to it.

speaking of every bookstore. i wonder if brendan and i are actually going to hit a bookstore for coffee this week. maybe we'll have to push it to next week, but i would love for it to happen at one time or another. this week is kinda pressing for time, cause i'm going out with heather and co. to see chris trapper at the kendall. and thurs we're off to the shamrock. and friday i'm going to visit my friend tracy for the weekend. ugh... it's just a crazy, crazy week. the only day i have open is wednesday. boy, what a busy girl i am.

okay, okay, i guess i should be getting ready for bed. hopefully i'll fall asleep at a decent time tonight. i'm so not looking forward to going to work tomorrow.
