i just want to say something. now, some people are not html savvy... me being one of them, however, my username (cats77) is not terribly descriptive. but when i am looking around on diaryland sites with people with cool user names, for some reason i expect to see a really nice layout, and all they have is a template. which isn't bad, necessarily, but it is unexpected. i've always wanted to say that but never really had the time to. i thought about saying it when i wasn't at a computer and when i was at a computer i never really felt a need to say it or i didn't feel like updating. but finally, it came full circle tonight.
phew.
what a relief.
so tonight alia and i went to our favorite store and looked at maps of california and stuff. we looked at maps and planned trips. and talked. and had mochas. and talked. and looked at books. it was fun. i love bn. but then again everyone knows that. i think alia has read nearly every book that has ever been written. everytime i pick up a book and say i want to read it, she says that she has it or has read it or something. i don't know. the girl must read. she must have a huge library of books. unless i'm kidding myself. but alas, i did not make any purchase whatsoever. which is somewhat a downer. ya know? but i didn't see anything that struck my fancy. and if i did, i just didn't feel like buying it. i have so many books that i need to read, that i shouldn't be buying anymore. but i can't help it. it happens. i just like being in bookstores. it's so much fun.
tomorrow, i really don't think that i want to do anything. of course i always say this and i always end up doing something. but i really don't want to. i don't think. maybe go to dunkin's but that is about it. maybe watch shrek, since my parents rented it and let me borrow it. but then again, that's about it. ugh...
snow is just not a happy thing to me. maybe it is to others. but all snow says to me is... it's cold out, it's miserable out, good luck cleaning off your car, and have fun trying not to slip while you drive. oh yeah... don't forget heavy duty mittens, hat, and scarf. and make sure that you allot for time in the morning to clean off your car and warm it up so that you can make it to work on time.
or maybe i'm just bitter. that could be it. but since the winter is so crappy, i have a huge appreciation when spring comes around. ya know? it's like double the pleasure.
