so i read another chapter of memoirs of a geisha. it is pretty good. a decently easy to read book. as some of you may know it takes a while for me to read. i am not a quick reader at all. oh well. it happens. i guess it could be a good thing if i am enjoying a book. but it's a horrible thing when i'm not enjoying a book. it's like torturous to get yourself through it. ya know?

so jenn at work is all grr right now. and she left early. and she's not coming back until monday. all because rob is an asshole. i think he pushed the rest of her buttons and she just can't take it. she is definitely thinking about leaving the team. whether she's leaving mellon, that could be a different story. it's just really weird. like, i feel bad for jenn, but all in all, she does stress me out. esp. when she gets angry and upset and mad. and i just don't know what to do. should i console her? leave her alone? offer her advice? ya know? i just don't know what to do. she was all upset in my cube, crying, etc. and dom was there. and neither of us knew how to talk to her or how to act. oh well. i'm probably telling more than what i need to.

i took the rest of the pics in my camera and headed it in for some film development. yippee. i took two pics at work and two outside of work. one of the flags and the other of teddies peanut butter. yes yes. we work right across the street from teddies. aren't we lucky? NOT. heather usta think it smelt (is that the correct spelling?) like fried chicken or something. heh. i'd rather smell fried chicken, but i guess teddie's'll have to do.

so miss lacey still has not messaged me back. grr on her. just kidding. i love miss lacey. she rocks. and ya know what? i think tomorrow at lunch i'm going to go shopping for some cute socks. i love sock shopping. it's fun. anyone agree?
