i feel the pain you feel inside

i decided to devote the majority of this day to reading. cause after visiting barnes & noble with alia yesterday, i realized that there are many many books that i would like to read. there were a couple of cute boys, but nothing really to write about.

so last night miss lacey came over as well and we went out to eat at fridays. it was pretty good. i had the grilled pollo ensalata which i feel like i have everytime i go there, but forget that i do until i actually get it in front of me. oh well. it was good. then we went to cvs just in case someone else wanted to dye their hair. but no one did. and lacey picked up some nail polish. khaki zing. which is this interesting purple/green/metallic silverish type of mood changing looking color.

so then it was off to blockbuster where we picked up a knights tale and chasing amy cause i haven't seen it in a while. and we got popcorn and reese's peanut butter cups.

back to the apartment to dye my hair. yippee. it came out good. in some lights, it looks better than others. so, i guess that tends to happen anyway. it seems like a darker red to me, but it looks decent. i think people might like the change. who knows.

both movies were rather good, even though i think we started nodding off during chasing amy everyone was just pooped. heh. ah well.... it happens. i have it til thursday, i'm sure i'll watch it again.

so this weekend was pretty laid back. no drinking. no bar crawls. no late night dancing or partying. just nice, relaxing. doing "kristen" things as stephen calls it. but you have to have one of those weekends every now and then. don't you agree?
