hello all....

i'm back. again... i can't say that i'm terribly happy that i'm back, but nonetheless, i'm back.

i got back from vegas last night around 1110 or so... and finally back to the apt around midnight. my trip was fun. we did a lot of day stuff, so we were kinda tired by the nighttime to go out. well, they were, i wasn't. i could go out all night and dance, but no one was up for it.

and i would have to say that i'd take 120 degree dry heat over 80 degree with boston humidity anyday. there IS a difference. you can breathe comfortably. it's incredibly amazing.

the grand canyon was incredible. anyone going out to that part of the states, i strongly encourage you to go. it's just massive. i was awestruck. i can't even justify the beauty with any words. you have to see it for yourself. we took a bus to this little rinky dink airport. took a plane to the canyon. and then... the highlight... we took a helicopter to the base of the canyon. the helicopter ride was just phenomenal. i can't even describe. i was right up front with the pilot too. i had the cute little earphones on and stuff. and he's all "you don't mind if i play some tunes, right?" and i replied "only if you don't mind me singing" hee hee. he was mad cool. the copter ride was kick ass. so smooth. so incredible. they landed us at the bottom of the canyon for about ten or fifteen minutes. got to take some pics and walk around. it was 108 degrees under the canopy down there. then the copter took us back up, swerving all around. then we took a bus to this random native american campsite for a barbecue. where of course i had to say "bobby.... cindy" just like mr. brady did on the brady bunch. the bbq was good. then a bus back to the other part of the canyon... the plane back... and the bus back to the hotel. it was completely worth it. and it only took 5ish hours from door to door. not bad. we still had the day ahead.

but i had a great time overall. the canyon trip was just phenomenal. it definitely was the highlight of the trip. i'm just hoping that my pictures came out great. esp. since i was up front with the pilot... i should have the best pics. but we'll see.
