right now i should be walking around the burlington mall with michael. but i'm not. why you may ask? cause he feels sick and tired and cranky... so he doesn't want to meet up with me while he's in this condition. so we are meeting up on wednesday night. just for dinner. i just hope that what he is telling me is the truth. cause if it's not, i'll be very hurt. i told him that if he does this to me on weds. then he might as well forget about ever meeting me. dude, a chic like me is hard to come by. you should consider yourself lucky that i even want to meet you. ha ha... kidding.
last night i went out with friends from college and their friends from home/work. it was a decent time. not as much fun as last friday, but it was still good. we were going to go to dinner at the al forno in providence, but we got there and it was a 2 and a half hour wait. so we put our name in for the hell of it, just in case. they also asked for a cell phone number so that when our table is ready, they can call us. i've never been to a restaurant like that. oh well. so we walked around a bit and found this other place to go called grappa. i found this place to be very pretentious. it's one of those fancy places where a salad is made up of 4 leaves and has flower petals mixed in or something. we waited FOREVER just to get a wine menu, to order, to get our food, to get desert. anyway... the bill came to 320 for the 6 of us. yeah... pretty pricey, i must say. so we put in 63 dollars each. mind you... i only had 70 on me. this wasn't looking too good. but andy said that he was charging it... so i gave him 40 and promised i'd give him 23 more when i had it on me. good deal. so we walk over to the fish company where we were meeting up with other people. and what does christa find in there... but an ATM. an ATM that charges 1.75 per withdrawal. um, hi... rip off. i just don't like charges.
but the fish company was fun. that's where part of something about mary was filmed. how exciting. it was alright. i have a problem with flirting with guys. worse yet... flirting with my friend's boyfriends. in a fun way... but it still happens. my friends just go out with awesome guys, that's all.
i wonder if this nailteques thing really works. do you think it does? i'm not so sure. i got formula 2 plus, which i guess you aren't suppose to use unless you already used formula 2. oh well. whatever, maybe that's why i don't feel like it's working. but maybe i should give it some more time.
i started harry 4 yesterday. the first chapter is definitely different than the other first chapters. usually the first chapter is almost like a recap of the book before it. but it was different this time. i like the harry books. they're much fun.
anyway, i need to buy my parents and anniversary card. i shall see you all later.
