basically the whole thing about "my standards" is not going below what you want, and what will make you happy. i guess it could be for anything, but i'm veering it more to relationships. more to that *special* guy or gal that you know is out there for you.

sometimes you might feel somewhat *pressured* to do what is expected of you and go out with certain people. maybe someone who is rich or someone with incredible looks... BUT they're missing that sense of honesty that you need to have in order to proceed to the next step. "honesty" in this case, is the standard.

does all of this make sense? i hope so. i mean, it varies depending on your situation... but regardless... you don't go below your standards just to be in a relationship.
