now, you all know that i normally update on saturdays. why? (the answer should be obvious, but just in case it isn't... that's my weigh in day) but... of course, if you read the prior entry to this diary, you know that i flew down to baltimore right after the meeting to go visit my very good friend, cheryl. heh. i actually went to the first meeting at 930 cause i was scared i was going to miss my flight if i went to the 1030 meeting.

but weigh in went well. which i was somewhat surprised over because not only did i have a hamburger last week, but i had a cheeseburger too. which i never eat within one week. PLUS i didn't have much time to walk last week either... so i didn't get too much exercise in. but... something showed up in the scales. i was down 2.2! surprise to me. and, get this, only 1.6 away from 50! holy sugars!!! heh. whoever thought i would get this far? i sure as hell didn't!!! we also learned about the flexpoints. i'm not so sure i dig the whole concept, but we'll see. i used most of my flexpoints already this weekend... actually... at dinner on sunday night.

so seeing cheryl. it was so nice to see her again. we did a lot of palling stuff. slams and books and what not. it was fun. i never slammed with a pal before, well... no, strike that... i did with kerry... but we didn't make slams together... we just signed each others. so anyway, i flew into baltimore and cheryl picked me up at the airport. and then we proceeded to this scrapbook store. MAN... i didn't think i was so into scrapbooking, but... 38 bucks later... i guess i am. they just had a lot of cute things. granted, i could probably find most of them at michaels or ac moore, but it was nice just to buy it all in one place. then we headed to inner harbor to meet up with jen who was there visiting with her parents. it just worked out so well that she was there and so were we. jen's sweet. it was nice to meet her. i feel like i've known her for a while, but it really has only been a couple months. we went to this brewery place and talked about whatever. a lot about pals, but about normal stuff too. it's nice to talk about palling, cause i can't do it with just anyone, ya know? then we took a bunch of pictures as we should. so i have plenty to provide in books now!!! speaking of books, the girls looked at my book for kerry's round and they liked it. i was so psyched cause it's my first round and i was so nervous. but cheryl and jen both thought it was cute. then we ended up saying goodbye to jen. she was only there for the day... and they needed to drive back to pennsylvania. :) and we needed to go to federalsburg. it was really nice to meet jen. i wish she was able to come back and slam with us. maybe next time.

i'll finish the weekend in another entry. right now i just need to go food shopping. there is nothing in this house!!!
