um... so today was kylee's birthday party. it was pretty good. and as always, i shut down the place. sorta. well, i did. because i was the last to leave. but that's only because i was dragged into playing teenage mutant ninja turtles with connor. that kid just wears me out. he's cute... but... he's crazy. and then i played egyptian war with kylee. which was alright. but that just caused me to be there for much longer than what i planned. but it's alright i suppose.
okay, and while janet was leaving, she was talking to brenda about books (janet is brenda's sister... brenda is my cousin.. in law... if you can call one that). and brenda comes out saying... we should start a book club. cathy (my cousin) and sharon (janet's daughter) are also involved. it's an interesting mix. it will be interesting to see how well this works. we're planning on reading a book a month. and then meeting somewhere and discussing. the first book is the lovely bones by alice sebold. which is good, because i've already finished it. i just hope i remember enough so that i can discuss. that would be good, eh?
so that's my excitement of the day. i'm going to join a book club. and not only a book club, but a family book club. yippee. what did i get myself into? just kidding. it should be fun.
