it was a majorly long day today at work. at least from 330 on. it was just nuts. the system was incredibly slow which screwed up nearly everything for us daily val people. (and monthly as well, i'm sure... but 4 on in daily land is sacred. don't come to talk to us. don't call. we work like ants from 4 to 6.) ugh. we also got word that dom, tom and rob can no longer call us by our nicknames. which is fine with me. cause i hate being called ZPST by everyone. specialists can call each other by the nicks, but supe/mgr to specialist cannot. why? i guess rob referred to jess as pookie while near bob's office. he found it inappropriate, so there are no nickname callings now. weird. no more pookie. no more ZPST. no more shortie. no more breadman. no more gentle ben. weird. i don't like ZPST coming from anyone. it's worse when it comes from tom and rob (dom NEVER calls me ZPST... God bless his heart). but for pookie and pookimon.... i don't know. it's just weird. oh well. i won't rant on it.

i went to eat at sweet chili with vanessa, andy and chi. it was pretty good. well, it was alright. i've had better. but it was different to be eating with them rather than alia, or lisa, or heather. it was basically an hour and a half lunch for me. i don't really care. i also walked in late today. and again, i don't really care. and it was a nice day today. and i care about that, cause nice days are good. :)

right now city of angels is on. i never really got into this movie. i have this thing against nicolas cage. i swear. i don't know if he is the reason that i did not like this movie or what. but i really didn't see the big hoopla about it. ugh. i never like the movies that everyone else likes. the biggest one... beaches. ugh. that movie just annoyed me for some reason. and everytime i tell someone, it's like... i'm evil. oh well. i guess to each their own.

oh, i thought of something the other day that i don't think dim meadow nor heather is going to like from me.... i don't like pete yorn. or at least i do not like that song that they play all the time. "life" i think it's called. i don't know. it didn't really click with me at all. ya know what song i do like? "eleanor rigby" by godhead. obviously, a cover of the beatles hit. totally interesting if i do say so myself. i dig it. and i downloaded it from audiogalaxy this evening. i'm pretty cool.
