i decided on if project. i originally learned about this particular collab through strawburygrl. i like her writing. she writes very thoroughly. very long. she also has her own collab called wish that i also might participate in. that particular collab, there are no rules. you can write one month and then never again. if you choose. so i have a feeling that when the time is right and it strikes me, i'll participate in hers as well.

the if project i also heard about from xsty today. she's in a whole bunch of collabs. granted generally people have a month to formulate their thoughts and answer the question, but that alone could take much time. in order to get the right words. to say the right thing. and to make it all flow. it can be difficult. but she seems to do a good job, because she keeps up with several writing collabs and also several art related collabs.

it's an interesting thing, i feel. these collabs. this online diary writing. maybe i'm a dork, who knows. but it gets me excited. to go back to what i love to do. to have a focus. to answer a question in my own words. i love it. it's great. i love writing. call me a dork. but i do. and to have a focus. wow. i haven't had a writing focus since college.

so i will start tomorrow with my new collab writing life, as the new question comes out the beginning of each month. what will it be about? easily answered? too difficult? who knows. but hopefully i will be as excited about answering it as excited i am for receiving the question tomorrow.
