the pages of a book

i just wanna make a quick entry. who knows if this will end up being one, but that was my thought at this time.

i just got back from barnes and noble. i swear i could live at that store. i really could. just curl up in one of those big chairs with some great books drinking a cafe mocha... and just enjoy it. simple and easy. yet very incredible.

and ya know what else? i like boys that read. i think they surpass my love of boys that go food shopping by themselves. and it makes more sense, cause food shopping is food shopping, and reading is, well, READING. ya know? i don't know what it is, but when i see a boy looking for a book. just standing there in front of a shelf... his head nodded on one of his shoulders, reading the spines of the book. looking for that author. looking for that particular book.... i don't know. i just like it. i find it encouraging. and refreshing.

i like boys that read. i really do.

so i guess i should tell you what a picked up at barnes and noble, cause i actually did buy books this time. i got.... stephen chbosky's the perks of being a wallflower and dave pelzer's a man named dave. the latter is the third book in a three book series. i read the other two books a couple years ago... and found them intense. extremely intense. the wallflower book i heard about from rachel and pat monahan from train in the little blurp in rolling stone.

so hopefully they're both good. i'm thinking they will be.

hmm... maybe i can find a boyfriend at barnes and noble. reaching for the same book? hmmm...
