meeting michael

okay... so michael and i met tonight.

for those of you who don't know who michael is... he's my business contact (soon to change in the next week or two) from putnam.

we met at joe's bar and grill. he pretty much pulled in two minutes after me. the only way i can think about describing his looks... body shape kinda like ryan brown (only heather will understand this) with a cameron diaz in my best friend's wedding's twin brother kinda look. he doesn't look like cameron diaz, but if she was a guy... i think they'd look similar. so he's decently attractive. (and he has a nice ass too) we hugged hello. it was kinda weird, cause we've known each other on the phone for so long and to meet someone face to face just kinda puts a twist to it. not a BAD twist, but a twist nonetheless.

anyway, so we go in... get our little buzzer thing and then after five mins, we decide to go to the woburn mall. this mall blows. but it was the only thing around to do. we went into the bookstore and looked around... and then went back to the restaurant.

on our way back the little buzzer thing kept going off. not only does it light up and buzz, but it tells you that your table is ready. funny shit. it went off like 10 times before we got through the door. i got my blackened chicken pasta and michael got some chicken sauteed with onions and peppers over ravioli special. kinda random, but i guess it was good. the couple next to us was one of those annoying couples that needed to sit next to each other rather than across from each other. i don't know why, but i always found that to be annoying. oh well.... we had decent conversation over dinner. he asked me "am i as scary as you thought i'd be?" which i really didn't know how to answer, but i said "not at all". he was cute. not a babe or hot or anything, but he was definitely cute.

after dinner (he paid, i offered) we went to see "one night at mccool's" which we both agreed was better than what we thought it may be. it's one of those movies you don't reccommened per se, but it someone is going to see it and ask your opinion, you'd reply "it was decent... pretty good" anyway, so i paid for the movie, cause i don't know... i felt like it... and i felt like i should. there's a movie with chris catan coming out... it looks funny... i forget what it's called though.

alright, so we decide to go to bickford's for coffee. we chatted a bit, but barely stayed there. we were only there for like 20 mins, i'd guess. had some light conversation. he has very nice blue eyes. and such kissable lips. so...

we get back to my car and he says... "it was a pleasure, and we will definitely do this again" and i said "yeah, it was a pleasure, and we will". i really didn't know how to end it. i kinda wanted to kiss him, but i didn't in the same aspect. if he went for it... i would have, but i, for some odd reason, couldn't make the move. i don't know why... i just couldn't.

so, it was a simplistic, traditional first date... but it was good. and i hope it happens again... sometime. i think this could actually work out. and if it does... i'll be a very happy person.
