hold me in your arms tonight

so ever since i've been back from california, i feel like my life has been in a whirlwind. moving cubes and teams. being under a new manager, but not yet. meeting new workers that i may have to train. feeling as though i'm still hugely a part of my old team, even though they really don't need me anymore. they only need me when people are out. having to deal with my old manager getting angry at us for missing something that he and tom and dom should have explained to us in the first place. argh! that was the biggie. that and a meeting with bob stein about that whole situation. granted, no, i'm really not on the team anymore... but it happened when i was on it. ya know? and i feel responsible. i don't think that people view me as that way, but oh well, that's how it is.

but i got to see joey yesterday, and boy is that kid getting big. i swear. he's 11 lbs 3 ozs as of this past monday. yikes! he's in the 90th percentile for his weight AND for the size of his head. hmm... maybe he'll be a smart baby? heh. one can only hope. i love my nephew, my Godson. he's just too adorable. :) it's amazing how awesome something so little can be. even when he cries he's a cute kid. although i think it breaks my sister's heart when he does. i just can't wait to see him again.

besides that, not much else is up. i went into work today to try to figure out the friggin recon that i should have done a while ago. i've got it down to 775shares which i'm satisfied with. i doubt rob is... but going from like 6million to 775 is good news to me. we'll see though. i just hope i can figure it all out tonight. sometimes i hate work, but when i'm figuring out a problem and making progress... it doesn't really bother me. i mean, i was there for like 4 hours working on it... and i accomplished so much. i would do it during the normal work day, but it's a pain in the ass with people constantly around asking questions or just saying hi. or getting phone calls. argh! anyway...

i'm in the middle of reading alice sebold's the lovely bones which i find to be a pretty good book. i probably wouldn't have picked it up if it weren't for one of my new favorite authors saying that the book is all that people are saying it is... and then some. after this i still need to read moonunit zappa's book and then watermelon by marian keyes. and in the meantime, i should find some time that i could read some of jane green's books.

alrightie... off to the rental's i go to show some pictures and stuff. hasta.
