i got to see kevin last night. i actually went out and had fun. whoever woulda thought. i haven't done that in a week or two. besides lacey's dinner of course. and seeing kevin was just great. i love that guy. he rocks. we had a long conversation about everything... from his trip to the bahamas to one of his customers coming back from afghanastan to playing golf in tournaments to bands that play bad u2 covers. there's a certain comfort level when i'm around kevin. now... don't get me wrong... i'm not in love with the guy. he's married and stuff. but, i don't know... when i talk to him... i feel safe. or something. like no sketchy guys would come and talk to me. i don't know... it's weird. kevin rocks, though. best bartender in the world... i'm convinced.

so here i am now... just sitting here in my jammies. i washed the kitchen floor. woopdi doo. that might be the highlight of my day. yippee. i would really like to go see about a boy tonight or maybe this weekend. but i don't know what people are doing or want to do or anything.

i went shopping at babies r us last night. and i had a field day. oh my... that store... i just want to buy everything i see in it. i got cute little things. and i got things that sue and jon need. like the diaper champ. um... i fell in love with this cute little terrycloth duck outfit thing. there was no way that i was leaving the store without it. no way. a got a rattle. hats, mits, changing table cloths, receiving blanket, crib blankets. i just got everything. and i spent 100 bucks... but i really don't care... cause i just can't wait. at all. i'm very giddy about it.

chicago is in a week. i can't wait for that either. that's going to be a blast. i'm really looking forward to it. get back in the windy city again. :) i love chicago!

anyway, i think i'm going to go and read good in bed. it's pretty good so far. i started it on wednesday. right before i saw the boston boys win on the amazing race. go chris and alex. i'm so proud!!! :) anyway, so that's what i'm going to do.
