this will probably be my last entry of this year. considering it's nearly my bedtime and tomorrow i'll be at work and then out drinking the night away. yippee. heh. and then... it will be 2002.

i can't wait to put 2001 to rest. for obvious reasons.

for some reasons things seem better when you start out with a clean slate. like suppose something is bothering you all day. and you go to bed. and then you wake up the next day and it's not that bad. and even throughout the whole day it doesn't seem as bad as it did the night before.

i think that's what people think when the year turns. it's like a whole new beginning. and it's easier to do a start over then, because so many people are doing startovers.

that whole new year resolution thing kinda irks me. i tried this year to stick to my new years resolution. but by the time mid january came around, it was gone. and that new years resolution was to become more articulate. that's it. no diet. no moving away. no starting a new career. just to become more articulate. and i really don't think that that happened. i need to strengthen my vocabulary. i think that would help tremendously. and how does one do that? i read books, but for some reason that doesn't help me too much. or at least not to the point that i see it.

so anyway, off that topic.... stephen decided to have a little party tonight. not a big shabang. but dinner with two of his friends. and then some other friends were coming over. except those friends brought other friends. of the ones that i met... i think that i like frank and josh the best. i miss tom. tom's his ex bf. he's nice. although i feel like i didn't have much to say to him. heh. i guess it happens.

so now i have to iron and get things ready for tomorrow. yippee skippee. just what i want to be doing at quarter to 12 on a sunday night. ugh.

anyway, happy new year to all. and to all a good night.
