anyway, um... it was another hellish beyond belief week at work. why is it all happening at once?

the only relief that i had was going out after work. tuesday with lisa to fridays. i pretty much vented the entire time to her. wednesday with stacy at fridays (yes fridays again). we talked about everything. and we ended up bumping into matt from days back of mellon. he was in my training class back in like sept. 99. geesh... that seems like forever ago. thursday was the mellon party at the radisson. which was alright. i mean, i felt like i was at a wedding, but i did what i had to do to have fun. ya know? and ben showed up. and everyone thinks he's adorable. cause he is. but i guess he ended up macking it with some chic or something. he's a nice guy. friday was just an awful day. towards the end i was in tears in front of both dom and rob. not cool at all. i just overstressed and it broke me. and it just happened to be in front of rob and dom. ugh. oh well. i guess we'll see how monday pans out. anyway, after work on friday alia, lacey and i went to bertuccis. we were all exhausted and practically fell asleep in our food.

so that was my day. my week. ugh. i don't even want to get into it. so i won't.

but i will tell you that it's nearly 1130 on a saturday night and i'm WAITING to be next in line to do my laundry. don't people have lives? ugh.

hmm.... i'm not so sure if i really dig the holiday season. i mean, it's cold and snowy and it gets dark at 4. and people are all cranky cause they feel like they have to get people presents. and the whole sense of christmas is lost. now don't get my wrong, i'm really not terribly holy and preachy and all, but christmas has gotten too commercial. it seems anyway. i mean, you go to the mall and you get crowded in by other crazed shoppers trying to by everything for everyone. family, friends, and fun. that's what it should mean. a nice dinner where everyone contributes something. but hey, what do i know?
