so it's august. yippee. only four more days until my birthday. and then i'll be the big twenty four. yikes. i'm almost a quarter of a century. boy does that depress me. oh well. i'm still young and vibrant. the past couple of weekends spent with lacey have proven me so. thank God we bonded.

of course the big thing of today.... it was the first day of life without janice. i think bob and i are feeling it the most. and dom. dom probably more than both of us. i love janice. she's an awesome, awesome supervisor. i just wish i could take her with me or follow her to brown brothers and work under her again. that would be great. but i must move on. so now i have domenic as my supervisor which is fine. i love him, too. but, and i don't mean this in a bad way... he's not janice. but i'm sure things'll be fine.

and it's heather's and my two year anniversary at the wonderful world of mellon. THE employer of choice. why? i really don't know. i wouldn't consider it the employer of choice. they took away the luau and summerfest this year. GODDAMN that leap program. grrrr..... but it's our two year anniversary. who knew that we'd survive for two years. i was giving it one and a half tops... but alas. i'm here.

alia, christina, and i booked our cruise to the bahamas on monday. i'm so excited. i can't wait to go. we're docking off november 11th, going to freeport, nassau and then we're getting back to florida on november 15th. we may just take that friday off and travel down to miami for the weekend. just for an extended vacation. even if we don't, i'm sure we'll have a blast on the cruise to the bahamas. i can't wait.

any other big news lately? i don't really think so. it's been pretty quiet lately.
