i have a feeling that this is going to turn out to be a shorter post than what i would have liked to do for providence, considering that i'm writing this a couple of days after the fact.
at about 6 or so, i leave my apartment to get down to lupo's in providence, thinking, oh... there won't be a huge line or anything. so i follow the directions from the website, which i think suck. it told me to go onto 195 and then get off at the first exit and go left at the second set of lights... which is the right directions. but it woulda been easier to just get off at 95, the downtown exit and follow the road. oh well...
so i'm driving down westminster street and what do i notice, but a line outside of lupo's and down a block. "great" i think to myself, i'm gonna have to wait in that. but then i also thought... hmm... i'm sure bonniy and christine are pretty much upfront, maybe i can sneak in with them. i parked in this shady, shady alley lot thing. ugh.. it always gives me the creeps.
i end up NOT finding bonniy and christine, so therefore i'm stuck at the end of the line. thank God for cell phones in times like this. i called nearly everyone i knew that was going to be there. i finally got in touch with laura who said she'd save a spot for me once we're in. i called mitchy who was still on his way. fantastic. but he got there shortly and i met his friends bill and kristin, whom i didn't really have anything in common with, i don't think. oh... and... scary dunkin donuts shirt guy who kept staring at me. ugh... it was giving me the creeps.
finally the line moves and i get in and all is happy, but i'm in by myself cause mitchy was at will call and bonniy, christine and laura were nowhere to be found among all the people. argh...
mitchy and his gang finally get in. so i decide to watch the show with them, cause i love mitchy. but i really really really wanted to see it with bonniy cause it was her 100th train show, and i feel like i should be there with her to celebrate. ya know? but mitchy's my babe, so all was good.
alright... i was stuck in im's tonight... so i'm going to just end this and start off with pmb and the big smelly guy in front of me, and then head into train and afterwards, for my next post...
